Southborough, MA—December 3, 2007— Pinnacle Financial Group has proudly sponsored a Thanksgiving food drive and a holiday toy drive for children. During the week of November 12th through the 16th, the firm, in conjunction with other businesses in the community, sponsored a food drive to benefit local families in need this holiday season. Every pound of nonperishable food that we collected (220 pounds) was given to the Worcester County Food Bank to assist in providing donated food to its network of 260 partner agencies located in 70 cities and towns in Central Massachusetts.

In addition, the firm is sponsoring a toy drive this holiday season to benefit Toys for Tots. Toys for Tots, which is operated by the United States Marine Corps Reserves, began in Los Angeles in 1947, and became a nationwide program in 1996. Since its inception, the program has distributed more than 332.5 million toys to 158.7 million needy children, and received countless accolades as a leading philanthropic organization. The firm will be collecting donations of funds and unwrapped toys from November 26th through December 14th, ending with a visit from Santa Claus.
